Messing with my mind

Does the heat mess with your mind?
Are you a lover or a hater...of the sun, I mean.

This picture messes with my emotions- not that it takes much to send me over the edge anyways, but this just makes me feel crackled...my happy heart turns inside out and summer-time blues come out. So help me...I'll try to explain...


At first glance, it's just a nice, lattice deck, shot on a funny angle, with an umbrella peeking up and a palm tree in the corner, and don't forget the puffy white cloud floating by in the sky.
All is good. Love that blue sky. You can just feel the heat bouncing in and around all over the place.
Pure bliss...
warm bones,
skin tinglin' from a mild sunburn,
relaxation,
did I mention warm bones?
Feelin' pretty stable, comfortable, warm and pleased right about now.


But now,
I'm frazzled. Yes, just that quick.
Take a second look, zoom up close on the lovely palm waving in the corner...and you'll spot IT.
The chimney pipe.
Oh, the depression, oh, the cold, oh, I feel the winter blues comin' on.
How's that for a stark reminder of the dreaded winter.
It's only about 3 mouse clicks away, you know!
Sigh.
Just wanted to share with you the muddle of my emotions when I saw that.
